Our highly unusual hurricane drought came to an end with Hermine making landfall in Florida and leisurely impacting the eastern coast through New England.
All boat owners should diligently work their hurricane plan and to prepare their boats ahead of a Named Storm. GMIC's Yacht and Charter policies provide reimbursement coverage for Hurricane Haul-Out and for boats in certain states (NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA, TX, Bahamas, Caribbean and Mexico), a higher "Named Storm Deductible" applies to claims resulting from hurricane damage.
We still having about a month and a half left for the Atlantic hurricane season, so stay safe everyone.
